WHY A DOG SHOULD BE GROOMED

With busy schedules keeping us on the go, dog grooming often gets pushed aside for other commitments. However, proper pooch hair care is crucial — not just to keep your dog looking good, but also to ensure he’s in good health. Some of these health issues are fleas, hair mats, bad odour. Fleas and ticks love long hair especially in wet winter weather. It helps them to hide and protect them from the elements. Professional groomer can trim down the excess fur so the fleas and ticks have nowhere to hide. Another issue is hair mats. Matted hair can become home to fly larvae, ticks, and fleas. The lack of air circulation on dogs skin can cause their skin to become irritated and even lead to sores. Dogs like people feel better when they look beautiful and been indulged.

A professional grooming session typically consists of the dog being brushed, bathed and dried, as well as trimmed or clipped. Groomers clean the dog’s ears to remove buildup and to check for signs of infection. When the dog’s coat has dried, he will be trimmed, clipped, or shaved, if needed or requested. We know standards of more than 200 recognized breeds and will offer you the best haircut for your standard or designer breed fur friend.
